TGI FRIDAY'S

KY's sis plan a surprise dinner for KY at TGI Friday's, The Curve. This is also my first time to TGI Friday's. Well, the food is really nice. Words can't describe the taste of the food.

We ordered one set dinner, and also Fettucini Alfredo with chicken and herbs.. It contains sauteed slices of chicken breast, fresh mushrooms and red bell peppers tossed in Alfredo sauce with cilantro pesto.

Picture of set dinner:Fettucine Alfredo with chicken and herbs..They provide post-food feedback, which means they ask us to give some comment on the foods. Service is definitely one of the best I've come across so far. After having our dinner, about 5 TGI staff came with a big slice of cheesecake (free of charge). They play a trick on KY. HaHa..Lastly, photo of the 3 of us. Lobo couldn't join us as he has class to attend.Happy Birthday KY!!

UKM convocation

Last Monday, I attended KY's convocation at DEKTAR, UKM. This is my first time attending convocation. I offered to be the official photographer.

We reached the hall at about 650AM and get into the hall at about 745AM. Since it's an free-seating event, we quickly walk to the middle of the hall to get a good seat. They organizer only allowed photograph to be taken from own seat. Picture below shows the grand hall:The middle seats are reserved for the graduating students. The event was a bit boring and lengthy, as we have to wait for about 600+ students going up the stage to get their scroll. At about 1130AM, we get to move out from the hall.

Now, it's photo time!!

From left; HP, KY, Suk Peng (Kepong), and Irene (Penang)Suk Peng and HPKen (Sarawak) and HP. I used to stayed in his room in Ungku Omar during semester 1.
Picture of me and my dear..Lastly, one big family picture with the famous 'gong' and DEKTAR as the background.
Congratulation to KY!!

Sungai Lembing Yong Tau Foo

In the peaceful and quiet town of Sungai Lembing, there is a famous Yong Tau Foo stall. Each pieces of yong tau foo cost between RM0.20 and RM0.30. I remembered i ordered a bowl which cost RM3.20, and I couldn't finish it. HaHa..

Lots of choices..
They will ask whether you want 'siham' or not. By the way, I hate 'siham'.
Their famous tau fu.. Really nice and smooth texture..
Lastly, a bowl of curry mee that i ordered..Usually, this stall will be crowded every Sunday. People usually come to eat after climbing Bukit Panorama to see the beautiful sunrise.

Bukit Panorama, Sungai Lembing

Sungai Lembing is an abandoned tin mining town, which is about 40 km from Kuantan. It used to be the richest town in Pahang.

1 month ago, I went to Sungai Lembing to climb Bukit Panorama just to see sunset. It took us about 1 hour drive from Kuantan. This is the second time I came here. We set off at about 410AM and reached there at 510AM. It was raining, so we had to delay our plan. In order to reach the top of Bukit Panorama, we had to climb thousands of steep stairs.Although this trip I didnt get to see sunset, but we managed to take some nice pictures. The morning air is so fresh. From the top, you can see the small little town of Sungai Lembing.
From the other side, the view is magnificent.Group photo (girls) after conquering Bukit Panorama.
HP punches Ed. Ouch!!
Other attractions in Sungai Lembing are:
This picture i get from internet. I'll definitely go again to see sunrise. This is true beauty of the nature.Stay tuned!!

Keropok Sagu

In the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, there is another version of keropok known as Keropok Sagu. Keropok Sagu contains a mixture of fish, prawn, vegetable, and sago. Usually, it will be deep-fried. Some local people prefer to boil it.
This time, I would like to recommend this particular shop at Tanjong Lumpur, Kuantan. Their version of keropok tastes a bit like KFC. The outer layer is very crunchy (only when it's still hot), and the inner layer is so soft. Dip it with their special chilli sauce. Saliva drooling..
So, next time you get to Kuantan, try to look for Keropok Sagu, and I'm sure you'll like it!!
