About my holiday

This holiday seem to be very short. I went back to KL twice, went to Raub, and also Genting. Few more days, i will be going back to KL as semester 6 will officially begin on January 3, 2007.

On my previous post of 'math-geniuses', i did mention that i finished the game 'The Third Wave'. Few days after that, i managed to complete 'Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories', which was not completed during the last semester break. I finished the game with percentage of completion of 47%; i couldnt complete most of the side-quests and secrets.
I also spend more of my holiday time playing 'Winning Eleven 10'. This time i use Manchester United to compete in the Master League all the way from division 2.
Apart from that, I also do some reading. Reading other people's blog, newspaper, and trying to finish Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The movie will be released some time next year on July.

Genting Trip

On 20 November 2006, I went to Genting with lg, ph, wk, yw, and zy. It was not well planned, but we had a lot of fun there. We had burger king at the skyway terminal at gohtong before enduring 20 mins cable car trip to the top station. It was a bad experience for lg as he has acrophobia (fear of height).

This is the first time i go with my IMU gang for a trip. This is also the first time i enter casino. However, the police at the entrance of the casino asked for my identity card. Hey, i'm 22 now!! Ph failed to enter the casino as he is still underage. Therefore, we went in for about 10 mins.

We had our supper at Kenny Roger Roaster at First World Plaza, before going for outdoor walk. Below are some pictures taken, i get from wk's website.
The next day, we had buffet breakfast at First World Cafe. The food is so-so. Then, we went back to our room where the fun begin. First, there was smell of shit from the toilet. HaHa.. Then, wk cover himself with the white blanket and tried to scare off people in the opposite room. After all the fun, we check-out, ph went for outdoor theme park. The rest of us went into the new casino.

Then, me, wk, and yw tried the Flying Coaster ride with a price tag of RM12. This is also my first time riding flying coaster. I would rate this ride 8/10.
Then, we had our KFC for our lunch while waiting for ph before heading back to KL.

Today's my birthday

Dec 19 2006, I'm 22 years old..

As i type here, i'm reading sms from friends. Do you know that most of the friend that sms me this year are Digi (016) friends? That means i have to reply them at 20 cents per sms. Last year, most of the sms is from Maxis (012) friends. My finger is aching now, and i'm thinking of 'carpal turner syndrome' as i reply each sms.

I would like to thank everyone that wish me happy 22th birthday. Let me create a list here to wish thank you; Penny, Ven Chin, ky, Shuw Min, Wai Kit, Chin Lin, Edward, Pui Yee, Cheng Hong, Li Guo, Ket Li, Zhang Jian, Sivanesan, Zhi Yang, Ee Lin, Soon Lai, Choo Uei, Josephine, Kenny, Mooi Fong, Yen Wei, Yan, Wee Pin, Eng Chuan.. the list is finalized.. next is the picture of presents..

Maple Cake

Doraemon fan, i know you'll love this post. Ky bought me this 'maple cake' from Hong Kong. For your information, this is doraemon favourite food. Since primary school, I've been a fan of Doraemon. I have a collection of Doraemon comic from volume 6 till 44. However, most of the book is with my cousin now.

Back to the Maple Cake, it has a useable life of 1 week only! The size of the Maple cake is smaller than my palm (please refer the picture below). The outer cake layer is just soft and sweetness level is just nice. The middle layer contain something alike kaya, but it is much nicer than kaya.

My stamp collection

Today afternoon, as I was cleaning up my cupboard, I found my old stamp books hidden below remote control car. Few days ago, my Singapore aunt gave me more stamp from Maldives. Therefore, i decided to continue arrange the unsorted stamp that has been left for 1 semester. The blue book is for stamp from Malaysia; pink for Hong Kong & China; red for Singapore; black for Australia & New Zealand. The green album is the latest addition which is still in a mess.Collecting stamp require patience and determination. One can choose to buy from local bookstore. I personally think that collecting stamps as we grow up will be more meaningful. Below are some pictures from the collection. The picture quality is not that good. I have another special edition album from China which i forgot to take picture of it.
Anyone interested to exchange stamp with me, please do leave me a message.

Dr Soh retires

Dr Soh Kai Sam (initial : SKS), is an easy-going person. He is the person who can finish lecture within 20 minutes. He is everyone dream tutor (lucky for wk having him as tutor). I didnt know of this news until i read from wk's blog.
He had been my PBL tutor before, as well as deliver lectures of General Pharmacology and CNS. I only remembered he taught us this 2 subjects. Correct me if i'm wrong.

I would like to wish him good luck and all the best in the future. Take care~

Math geniuses

Just want to share with everyone this email that is forwarded by a friend of mine. Don't you think the person who answer these math questions are really genius? Have you ever thought of such an answer? HeHe..
Result will be out in 2 days time. I'm worry also, especially when YW keep on saying he's worry. Anyway, I've completed 'Beyond The Law: The Third Wave'. This tactical shooter-type game is very similar to Commandos game series. As usual, after every semester exam, i will reward myself with a new game. Below are some screenshot (from gamespot.com).

Kuantan - Hong Kong

I'm back in Kuantan for my semester break. Meanwhile, ky went to Hong Kong with her family on last friday. FOr me to send sms to ky (012 to 012), it costs me only 5 cents. Unfortunately, it costs RM 2 to send a single sms from Hong Kong to Malaysia. I still remember the previous time i went to Singapore, Maxis charged me RM 1 to send sms back to Malaysia.

I have been thinking ways of figuring the distance between HK and Malaysia. First, i use wikimapia to visualize the distance.
The next step is to search for the distance. I came across this site, which offer free services to determine the distance between 2 cities. I'm separated from ky for about 2365 kilometers!!
